Home theater system help needed?

I have just purchased a Samsung TX-T2782 tv and I already own a Samsung HT-DS610 home theater system. I have already plugged in the audio and video cords but I can't view the dvds. Is there a special channel that I need to turn the tv to? How are the cords supposed to go in? Someone help!!!

  1. Depending on which cables you used to connect the Home Theater system. Try pressing the input button on your TV remote until you get audio/video.

  2. first make sure you have the video OUT of the dvd player into the video IN on the tv, its a common problem. If that is right, then on the samsung on the remote and the side of the tv it should say source or input just keep pressing that until it finds the video signal.
