Home theater system playing only for few minutes!!!?

I've an LG Home theater system.
It is not playing for more than 2 or 3 minutes.
It keeps playing the CD/DVD, but sound does not come after some time.
FM, aux nothing is working for more than 2 to 3 minutes.
I suppose there is some problem with the dvd player

I am befuddled myself. Have you tried calling the manufacturer. I know that LG is rated very highly. Perhaps a connection or bad cable or plugged in wrong or dirty CD or DVD, but I suppose you've checked all that out. I am thinking it might be a faulty appliance. Give em a call. Double-check all of your speaker connections. It sounds like you have a connection problem -perhaps one or more of your speaker wires are touching each other. Make sure all wire connections are fully and securely in their correct holes on the speakers and the receiver (+ to + and - to -) for all speakers, and your problem should be fixed.
