Too Many Choices: Which One's the Best Television?

Which Ones's the Best TV...Click here to find out.Everywhere you look, companies are trying to outdo each other when it comes to launching new TVs in the market with the latest features; every one of these companies are claiming that they have the best television. LCD TV screens and plasma screen TVs capable of HDTV and EDTV are flooding the home entertainment market.

Because of the ever-growing competition among companies and the technological advancements being made in the entertainment and electronics industry, it can be quite difficult to give a straight and definitive answer to the question,"What is the best television today?"

* Currently, plasma technology is the most advanced television technology. Plasma screen TVs are enjoying robust sales among home theater enthusiasts.

* Plasma screen TVs are used in both homes and offices, and they come in 37", 42", 50" or 61" screen display.

* But popularity and sales aren't really an indication that plasma screen TVs are the best television. The sales are only one side of the coin. Plasma screen TVs are known to have many technical issues and a plasma screen TV's life expectancy is only about 5 years. Of course, don't expect manufacturers of plasma screen TV to readily volunteer that information to consumers.

* When it comes to picture quality, plasma screen TVs can be considered the best television today. But you need to weigh that against its short lifespan and high price tag.

* When it comes to picture quality, Liquid Crystal Display or LCD TV screens are almost at par with plasma screen TVs.

* LCD TV screens can be mounted on a wall or placed in a cabinet, making it a space saver, looking sleek and versatile.

* LCD TV screens are not really the best television out there but they can be the best television for the home theater owner who is looking to combine quality and affordability. While the prices of LCD TV screens can still be on the high side, their prices are going down.

* LCD TV screens have a dual function: as television and PC monitor. Thus, it is not hard to imagine that LCD technology will become the standard for televisions and computer monitors.

* Cathode Ray Tube or CRT television uses old television technology, and thus it can't really be said that it's the best television out there when it is pitted against the sleeker and more advanced televisions in the market.

* However, a CRT TV is a tried and tested television and currently the cheapest in the market.

So now we come back to the question, "What is the best television today?" Unfortunately, this is one question that you will have to answer yourself. The best television is the television that satisfies your needs and makes your home theater experience an enjoyable one.
