High End Speakers Do It All
Do you make fun of people who spent their money to buy [tag}high end audio speakers[/tag] because you got a great deal on very adequate speakers? You may be surprised to find out just what a difference those high end speakers would make in your sound system.
Fortunately for you, up until this article, you may not have realized how much you've missed out. The sound difference is positively unreal. If you close your eyes when you listen to how that rock, R&B or heavy metal sound on high end audio speakers, you can believe you're standing in the recording studio with the band while they record. The sound produced by high end audio speakers is that clear!
You may think these music styles would sound the same on any speakers, but when you listen on high end audio speakers, you can tell you're hearing intended distortions instead of speaker raspberries. It is much more difficult to describe the difference than to feel the difference. The only way you'll find out is to try listening to music using high end speakers!
Now of course, there are some kinds of music whose sound quality will come out the same on both low end audio speakers and high end audio speakers. Garage punk, for example, has so much muffling from the travel of the sound waves and the quality of recording equipment used that you really can't tell the difference in sound quality when listened to on low end and high end speakers.
If the people you listen mostly to this kind of music then you have a good point — high end speakers simply cost more for the same audio quality. This would also be true, of course, if the speakers are being used for low bit rate, downloaded music.
But for high quality metal and punk rock styles, high end speakers are required. The point to remember is that even noisy music styles have a wide range of sounds that can only be properly heard on high end speakers.
Why listen to the music if you are not going to hear it as the artist intended it? Of course, you want to hear the screeching high points and the booming low points, as well as the middle sounds, just the way the music was recorded.
Without using high end speakers, it is like listening to a karaoke band instead of the real deal. High end speakers will allow you to hear sounds that you can otherwise only hear at a live concert.
If you have made fun of people who spent money on high end speakers, perhaps it is time you consider that your low fidelity world is not the same world in which those people are living. Perhaps it is time to join the bliss of the high fidelity sound experience heard from high end speakers.
